Target Market Research

 

So, for this post I decided to do some target market research for my project. In order to know how to format my content audience, I need to know how much people would be interested in fiction and what categories would they encompass.

"Here are a few examples of a fiction book target audience:

• Young Adult Fantasy: your target audience will be teenagers between 13-18 years old and enjoy magic.
• Adult Contemporary: your target audience will be people over the age of 18 who like stories set in today’s world featuring uncommon but possible challenges.
• Middle-grade Science Fiction: your target audience will be children aged 8-12 years who enjoy advanced technology set in a futuristic world. "

According to Hannah Lee Kidder it when it comes to sci-fi or contemporary fiction. your audience is more at the Middle School, but work is between Young Adult Fantasy and Sci-fi so my audience is 12 to 18 years. 

Due to this I have learnt who my audience and how to structure my script according to the age of my audience.
